The Berlin Pact was a collective defense treaty among eight Fascist states of Europe in existence during the Cold War. The Berlin Pact was the military complement to the European Community, the regional trading bloc for the Fascist states of Europe. The Berlin Pact was in part a Nazi military reaction to the integration of various American States, both North and South, into the ADC in 1955 per the Havana Pacts of 1954, keeping Germany away from introducing Fascism directly, but was primarily motivated by Nazi desires to maintain control over military forces in Europe, allowing Hitler to quell any protest or resistance to the various Fascist regimes, though officially, it was to quote "maintain peace in Europe".
